Hassan and his team at Connect Electric went over and above at every stage of the work on our house.

We moved in as new home owners with a place that needed quite a bit of work throughout. They ran Cat6 cabling into each room of the house, making minimal holes in the process and coming up with smart ways of working around obstacles in the home as needed. They also installed or replaced pot lights throughout the living and dining rooms, above each stairwell, the entryway, hallway, and changed out other light fixtures in our bathroom, dining, and bedrooms. They also moved power outlets and set up our home to be fully functional and easy to live in. All said and done they worked in every area of the house. After the quality work they’d done with the lighting and internet cables we also asked them to upgrade the bathroom extraction fans due to moisture building up.

At each step of the way they kept us informed and up to date and well informed. They were on time and worked efficiently with minimal interruptions. The team were professional and courteous, and when we didn’t understand something Hassan took the time to walk us through it so we could make the right decisions for our home without pressure and with his professional guidance available.

Throughout the work done we felt the team genuinely had our best interests at heart and pointed out and explained any other non-electrical issues they came across in the home that we needed to be aware of or tend to. Friends that have come over both during and after the work have since decided to book Connect Electric themselves having seen the work they did in our home. We would enthusiastically encourage anyone we know to book this team of trusted professionals.

We recently did a 200a upgrade with help from Hassan. I would not repeat how professional Hassan is since there many reviews here have enough proofs for this. I would focus on my experience with him. I have never seen a trade professional like him. He followed up or I would say guided me throughout the entire process. Most trade people I have dealt with required me to follow up with them regarding how things have come along and sometimes they were difficult to get a hold or took long time to respond. Hassan is totally the opposite. He constantly check up with me and followed up with me what we should do and what his plan was even though my job was not a big job to him. He is very accessible and even replied my messages in late evenings. He worked very hard and he worked on Saturdays and Sundays. He was very reliable and he would be on our site when he said so. I cannot remember how many times Hassan has come to our site to check on us even sometimes I did not request him to come. This made me feel that Hassan is a person who truly cares about his clients and his work. I felt lucky that I engaged Hassan to help us and lucky to know such a professional and nice person. He is a highly recommended electrician!

Connect Electric is a great company to deal with!!! Hassan has done outstanding work at one of our renovation projects that needed a complete rewire of the entire house. He is very knowledgeable and helpful… All inspections passed without a problem and most of all, the price was very good compared to other electrical quotes we received. Hassan did some major electrical renovations in our place involving everything from adding dozens of pot lights, upgrading our circuit breaker panel, running 220V line to our hot tub, installing electrical requirements to heated flooring to adding a needed extra wall socket receptacle. He also did work around our small 9 Unit Strata to the satisfaction of all Council Members and Owners. Hassan did a GREAT job at a reasonable and fair price and is a fast and hard working individual – one of the rare contractors we trust implicitly. When we lost power to our house due to a root that destroyed the direct bury cable Hassan jumped right in to deal with the several utilities and the excavator. He gave us a very reasonable quote and came in on budget. He moved mountains to get our power back within 5 days of starting when utilities and other contractors were telling us it would take weeks, and none of the underground services to our 45 year old house were where they were supposed to be. I would not hesitate to recommend him

What can I say about this company and the person at the helm of this local company in North Vancouver? Mr Hassan is a true gentleman who once in a while you can find in professional services and contractors. He is very knowledgeable in his profession, good listener and he is so much caring about implementing the project in a perfect and efficient way. We had a kitchen Reno about one month ago and since we have already set a time for the installer to come for cabinet installation , we underestimated the time for electrical work prior to installation as we did not touch the electrical panel and had no clue about the situation with electrical work at our home and we were surprised by the volume of electrical work which should be done. At the same time, we did not want to postpone the cabinet installation because the next available time for them was far away from the set time. I did call Mr Hassan and he did come and observed thoroughly the status quo of electrical circuits and breakers and based on that , he gave us a reasonable quote.interestingly enough, even before accepting his offer to start to work on this project, when he came to visit the kitchen to give us quote, he voluntarily disconnected the washing machine and garburator since demolition team asked us to do it before they come to do their job the following day. He sent us a detailed description of what he should do to bring the electrical circuits up to the code along with its quote for each job . Despite the fact he was busy with other projects , he his team worked hard even on long weekend to finish the project on time and even they did some drywall patching as well since we could find someone on that short notice to fix the wall.The interesting part of any project in old homes is that when you touch something , you may end up opening a can of worms and that is exactly what happened with our project and since “impossible” was not in his vocabulary, he eventually found a way to fix the unpredicted problems and he managed to fix them and he brought everything to the code. The interesting point about mr Hassan is that most of the time he goes beyond and above his assigned tasks . He managed to accomodate his time to rectify the electrical panel, run some dedicated power line for island, fridge , replace the stove cable and breaker and also install some pods and pendent junction box for us. I totally recommend this kind , honest, knowledgeable gentleman and his electrical company to anyone who needs electrical services . Mr Hassan, thank you for your great work.

Hassan is an excellent electrician. He did an extended renovation and a full knob and tube removal on my home. This was a complex job. There were a lot of surprises in the walls of my old house, none of them good. Hassan helped me deal with them and get the quality job I wanted at a reasonable price. Extras were dealt with fairly. Hassan is a good guy. I would not hesitate to engage him again.

We hired Hassam to run all the electrical for our 200k renovation project. From the beginning we noted how knowledgeable he was and how much he cared about delivering good service. We needed somebody experienced from North Vancouver since we knew the project was going to be a long one. He installed a new electrical panel, rewired the new kitchen and new bathroom, wired the TV, fireplace and mirrors. He also relocated few switches and installed 24 pot lights. He’s not the cheapest in the area but for sure is the most reliable for the job. We’re very happy with the results and will hire him again.

I recently contacted Hassan at Connect Electrical Installations with the intent of completing a number of long outstanding electrical projects for our residential renovation. Arriving at our house on time exactly as promised, Hassan initially spent some time with us to review each of the outstanding issues. From there he provided us with a detailed quotation which we found very refreshing. Hassan worked within our busy schedules and seemed to be always available no matter the time or day. Of special note is that Hassan is great at trouble shooting. There were a couple of items which had previously been deemed impossible to fix; however, Hassan seemed to effortlessly determine the root cause and resolved the issues in both a timely and cost effective manner. Hassan is extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable of current electrical code. We continue to use Hassan and will do so well into the future. I can’t imagine an experience with anyone in a business environment that could exceed my expectations more. As somebody new to Vancouver I was faced with the daunting task of choosing an electrician to bring our old 70’s townhouse up to spec. I chose Connect because of their very good reviews, and was not disappointed. Hassan was at every turn punctual, exceptionally generous with his vast knowledge, and went out of his way at every step to get the house up to code and functional for us personally, even down to rewiring our European appliances to Canadian code. At the end of our renovation we realised just how lucky we were with choosing Connect, and I am almost loathe to post such a glowing review because I intend on working with Hassan and Connect on all my future projects and hope I don’t end up not being able to secure his time. I found Connect Electrical through a Google search, decided to contact them because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google and I am so glad that I did. Hassan has been extremely professional, prompt and responsive throughout the process. He advised thoroughly of options and code requirements during the quote (retrofitting bathroom fans and adding GFCI plugs in the bathrooms), clealy outlined the work he would be doing and how he would be running the lines etc. After we agreed to the price, he gave us a date to perform the work, showed up on time and even though it ran a little longer Dawood and he made sure they finished up that night itself to minimize disruption. Even for the two places where he needed to make extra holes in the drywall he clearly communicated this, the reasons why they were needed and made sure to clear them with us before proceeding. I would strongly recommend Connect Electrical for your next project. You will not be disappointed.

It was my lucky day: a random selection from the internet led me to Connect Electric. I had been troubled by frequent flickers and blackouts in my apartment for a number of weeks. My Condominium Management Company was sure the source of this trouble was within my suite. After several weeks of these power disruptions, I called Connect Electric. They established a method for locating the source, found it and repaired the damaged component. Sounds simple, eh. No: the system in my condo was outdated. Necessary parts would need to be located by direct contact with suppliers. Connect Electric was able to locate the parts, pick them up, and install them that day. That kind of service deserves even more than five stars. They also reset and reconnected my fridge which had been moved during the repair work. Several words come to mind like excellent, high quality, admirable, thoughtful, etc. IMPRESSIVE
